He's down in the polls and McConnell asked him to drop out. He's done.

I dont believe this to be true. I caught the tail end of a story on it and I thought the Repubcs have said to not do a write in candidate and additionally, supporters of Moore (and trump alike) generally do not care what the establishment republicans think and McConnel coming out may only fuel that.
Im not convinced he's done.

On top of that, I saw someone say "Remember Trump?" Just because someone is embarrassed to say they will vote for him that doesn't mean they won't do it anyway. So polling can be down but not be true.
WTF is the obsession with fake news from the people who lie about shit like this? Maddening.

Yeah, these people live a world all their own. Here's the latest I read:

It's worth pondering why the Dems messaging down there is so bad that "didn't assault young teen girls" isn't enough of a pull for voters.

While the democrat messaging in places like that is indeed terrible, the idea that voters turning out for a serial sexual abuser is in any way blamable on the other party's image problem is offensive.
I don't think that's really what you meant to say, but...phrasing.

It's not quite the messaging. I saw an article where someone said - anonymously of course - that Moore could shoot the previous prez and they'd still vote for him.
Yes I typed that weird for a reason. Don't need trawling bots.

Also, I honestly think the biggest messaging problem democrats have in rural places is Fox News, which absolutely dominates the storyline among these pocket populations that are otherwise pretty culturally unexposed, politically turned off, and often unimpacted by the major changes in the world.

That and never being around someone who looks or acts different than you.

I think, for all the shit Trump does terribly, one thing he understands better than anyone (whether this is instinctual or not) is that tribalism will never, ever break. It's been a big part of our politics for a while, but I think there was always an hesitancy to test it too far, because everyone presumed there'd have to be a breaking point. I think Trump (and by extension, Moore) has realized that's not the case. I think that has far more to do with it than messaging or particular policies.

He’s not done. It’s too late to remove him from the ballot and it’s much more preferable to feel up 14 year olds than it is to vote democrats. And he sure as shit isn’t quitting. He’s gonna win and win yuge.

Yeah... you are correct, I didn't intend to have it come off that way.

I almost edited it to change "I don't think" to "I know that's not what you meant," but instead counted on you and everyone realizing that I didn't mean it as an accusation.
Meanwhile...
