I got a text from my friend in Melbourne today...he owns the Waterside Hotel Bar and was wondering if you had ever had a beer/dinner thereSgt. Crackpot wrote:Yes, the gloriously disgusting cold and wet Melbourne (and it's Summer now too).doug rr wrote:hey Sarge, you're in Melbourne, right?

It's on the corner of Flinders and King streets. It's possibly far enough away from the red light precinct to be OK.doug rr wrote:I think its on Flinders..I've only been there once during the daylight hoursspike wrote:king street, eh? pretty seedy.doug rr wrote:I got a text from my friend in Melbourne today...he owns the Waterside Hotel Bar and was wondering if you had ever had a beer/dinner thereSgt. I think I've actually been there for a beer, but not for a meal. I've had a few pub tours over the years around that part of the city, so it's quite possible, but I'm not certain as there are so many pubs around Melbourne.
I thought you and spike were from the US, are you Aussies?
Ah gotcha. Well, I don't go into the actual city often, but the next time I'm up that way I'll pop in there and sample their delights.doug rr wrote:I'm from here (US) and Spike's wife is Aussie...I just have a good friend in MelbourneSgt.
