There's no doubt in my mind.

It's obviously only gonna interest people who have an investment in the story or these films. I never said it was for everyone. I'll probably hate it too when I see it. But the extended editions of these films, all of them, have been better with the added footage.

I prefer the theatrical release of the fellowship of the ring to the extended version.

I've actually never seen the theatrical cuts of any of the LOTR films. But when it comes to this franchise, the longer, the better, in my opinion.

I watched the first disc of the fellowship the other night for the first time n ages and was struck by how hokey it all is. But it works.

That Five Armies movie is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I still need to watch this.

the only way that makes anything in the movie better is if they cut things out. I figuratively claw my eyes out at Legolas jumping up falling blocks and want that fucker to fall every damn step.
