me: oh god please dont turn into a cross-fit douche! please no!

clara: shut up

me: They are some of the worst people in the world. for real.

Clara: People at my gym are some of the best people in the world.

Me: at least you aren't calling it a "box" yet

Clara: You're actually being super offensive and judgmental.

Me: I am mostly being dramatic but I will say that most crossfitters I
know are the super judgmental ones :\Who think they are better and
stronger than everyone else
and never shut up about it

Clara: They are stronger than everyone else.

Me: here we go

Clara: Should I be going to a regular gym and spend 40 minutes on an elliptical?

Me:nope
are those your only two options?

Clara: You started it.
Gotta go. I'm going to put my tall socks on and climb a rope. Sorry
if that annoys you.

Me: It will annoy me when you start telling me everything I do for a
workout is for pussies and when you have shoulders and a neck that are
bigger than a fire station

Fuuuuuucckk 7 mph is so damn hard, i still can't go 2 miles straight through at 7, i felt like i was gonna pass out at three quarters of a mile, and could only get to 1.3 before slowing down to 6mph, but i sped back up and still got my best 2 miles, i made it in 17:25

Thanks! I wanted to get in 9 or 10. But the wind was a nightmare. Running up hill into 30/40 mph wind is dumb.

I still haven't run outside so i haven't had to deal with the elements, but if i do have plans of a 5k at someone then im going to have to give the outdoors a shot

I am not a pure bred runner...but i really believe it is harder to run fast for a sustained period of time on the treadmill vs running outside and increasing your pace.
i also cant run more than 3 mi on the treadmill at any speed. I get bored and dizzy.

finding some music that i can get into durring the run is all that keeps me from being too bored, but 40 minutes of running tuesday night was pushing it

Running on the treadmill is pretty painful and brutal but I seem to do okay for 40 minutes or so. if I tell myself to just run 30 I will easily go for at least 40. Running on a treadmill is very militaristic whereas running outside is pure pleasure. I could Forrest Gump it whilst running along the river with a solid playlist. Unfortunately, i do not enjoy running outside during the winter. Ho hum.
