Yeah it was messy as hell but I was thoroughly entertained. Feel bad for the Alpine boys. Aston Martin got out of jail free with that final red flag being before the half way point of the lap! Holy moly.

Max so used to dominating he really gets pissy at any hint of someone else competing with him

I'm still mad at Russia and China for being such epic shitholes that we have bigger gaps in the race schedule this year.
Gimme another Alonso podium, stat!

yeah they gotta fix this huge gap. i'm sure they realize they are losing momentum with a break this long.
if only they could have some backup venue ready to go for such cases

Happy for Checo, but I still think sprint races are stupid.
At least Ferraris can make it all the way to the end without mechanical failure, I guess.

One or two have been really good, but this one was boring. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

LeClerc looked pretty happy after that 2nd place sprint finish
been a flunker of a year so far
Would love to see him hold onto the pole today but he’s got a tall order with those RB’s behind him
real Q is prob ‘in what lap do they pass him’
azerbaijian got a funny national anthem

Max prob gonna be all pissed about that call to pit early when a safety car was on the horizon

It's a tough one. They took a long time to call the safety car, but... they almost always take their sweet time, so perhaps it should've been expected.

he actually seemed OK at the end of the race

would be nice to see another car get up to RB’s level to see how that car reacts to a challenge
right now these races are practically a formality the RB is so advanced
would be nice to see more battling and see the car in a dogfight
i would say maybe we get that with Perez v. Max at some point, but I am sure RB management will be (and already is) focused on managing them to minimize risk of mutual destruction accidents

The Ferrari is still performing well in heavy cornering. It's the damn straight-line speed of the RB that is making this so boring and predictable.
