Yeah, I really disliked the first one but we watched the next two last night and they were solid.

These particular depictions of bullying still bother me though. It seems a little pro-violence in some sense so far.

Great season. Jonathons stoner friend was the only one that didn’t grab me as a character.
Spoiler: show
I was shattered thinking we could lose Steve
The 4th episode was fucking intense
Elevens bits were a bit boring but it all made sense in the finale
Murray MVP
Murray and Joyce Breaking Hopper out of a Russian prison. Totally unrealistic but enjoyable.
Eddie isn’t lasting the last two episodes

I'm wondering if he's playing guitar in the upside down to help Nancy break her connection with Vecna? Like Max had with the walkman. Or he's trying to keep Vecna from connecting to the heroes in some fashion?

Those last twenty minutes were fucking brutal. Terrible CGI, incredibly ham-fisted. Rapid loss of faith that they're going to stick the landing on this.

Argyle is a fantastic addition. The show spent way too much time in the Hawkins lab.

I might be missing something (I can't see how, since my 17yr old has been playing Stranger Things non-stop for 2 months), but I thought we had previous Lab backstories on how Eleven first opened a gate, or had her trauma with her mom.

Now there is this other trauma that helps her get back her powers? This secondary trauma feels off, like it's just added for season 4 content.

We've been dealing with the big baddie Mindflayer, but now Vecna shows up? If, as Dustin says, that Vecna is a general, then how come we've never seen the Vecna stuff the previous three years the portals were opened?

I meant the last episode presented. Not the last of the season.

He and Modine must be old bastards. That whole thing when he was a kid took place in the ‘40s, right?

They need to get Randy Quaid in this motherfucker. Then the complete Bye Bye, Love reunion we’ve all been clamoring for will finally happen. Seeing Modine and Reiser together without him is a little like watching Only Murders in the Building and knowing you’re so close to a Three Amigos reunion.

You know he’s slated to appear in season 2, right?

Halfway thru these last 2 eps of Season 4, and I have to say this was the best season yet. My two older kids are 12 & 10, so we went thru the whole series again, maybe that affected my judgement, but still, we have about 90 min left of season 4 and I can’t wait.
