Simple Torture wrote:Before the season started, I thought that Arya would be more like Bran is now than Bran is now but I'm actually happy that Bran is now how he is now and that Arya is now that she is now (if that makes any sense). It makes more sense narratively, and it'll make Arya's story even sadder if it ends up the way I think it will.
agreed

If you mean the Rhaenys Targaryen posts that's not ASOIAF stuff like you think, it's prequel westorsi history stuff.

I think Jaime sinking to the bottom is a classic episodic TV headfake--I have no doubt that he'll be back. However, I would've be surprised if he doesn't appear next week, and when he does come back (all speculation):
Spoiler: show
I wouldn't doubt that he's going to be trying to convince Cersei to give up to Dany. You don't live through something like he just did--literally watching his forces crumble in ash--and then be like, "Ok, when's the next battle?" He's going to be more like Jon soon, trying to convince Cersei of something she hasn't seen--i.e., that dragons are going to skull fuck them all--and their relationship is going to start to shatter. Remember in Season 1 when Robert and Cersei were talking and Robert asked what was keeping the kingdom together, and she said, "Our marriage," and they both busted a nut laughing? Well, it was basically true, and when Jaime and Cersei start to fracture, shit's going to hit the fan at about the same speed.

Yeah me too. I just think it's annoying that he survived that.

speaking of spoilers, cuz yours is more speculation anyway, the scene between robert and cersei you mention is one of my favorite king robert scenes. I don't know what else Mark Addy has been in besides that one sitcom, but i really enjoyed him as robert.

It's adorable how into Messandei Davos is. I don't think he'll make a legit pass at her or anything, but he's obviously smitten.

I enjoyed laughing when Bronn laughed at Dickon.
