How come nobody talks about how Lebron takes 4 threes a game at 28% clip? Horrible. What will be the next part of his game to slip? It won't be his post game...because he never developed one.

My Facebook news feed is full of the Lebron vs Kobe stuff. Let's see, they played twice a year and never met in the postseason during their careers. I can't think of a single Kobe/Lebron regular season classic either. They aren't friends. Kobe probably doesn't even respect Lebron any more than he has to. Filing it under IDGAF.

He had a post game in Miami for two glorious years when he was completely and totally unstoppable.

It doesn't look like he gets any lift on his jumpshot. It doesn't help that he rarely has catch and shoot 3's.

LeBron almost always ends up facing the defender in post situations. He never looks that great or comfortable backing down a player down. And even in those Miami years when he started banging with guys more, he never really had a great post game, it was almost always a turnaround jumper or an occasional hook. It always seemed pretty hard for him to get to the rim without "facing up" a defender. I'm not saying he was terrible in the post, he was just never better than good.

That's probably true. But at the point with every other tool in his game in peak form and insane athleticism he was pretty unstoppable in the post.

I feel like LeBron has taken bad advice over and over throughout his career. Or he's ignored good advice. I don't know.

Lebron needs to start playing the 4 on the regular.

Supposedly he was willing to do that if Joe Johnson signed with the Cavs.

On a related note, people down here are foaming at the mouth at the thought of a Heat-Cavs ECF.

I'm guessing LeBron's always wanted to be a smoother player and have more fluidity in his game. So he tends to do stupid shit like drop too much weight or concentrate too much on developing more "moves" in the post, instead of just letting his strength take games over. He should have tried to be more Barkley in the post instead of Hakeem.

Every time I see him take one this year it's off balance, a fadeaway or just plain ill advised. Derrick Rose is a better and more efficient 3 point shooter than Lebron this year. Let that sink in.

When he played in the post more in Miami: the HGH years.

I think Lebron has become very conscious of his mileage over the past few seasons and really only turns it on when he needs to. Explains a lot of his drifting along the perimeter and iso shots.

The odd part is that the Heat didn't say anything about it. It almost seems like there's a disconnect between what Bosh wants and what the organization wants to do. Idk how that's going to turn out. He's been practicing and staying at the facility watching tape, etc. So if he's cleared he should theoretically be ready to get back out there pretty quickly.
