Just sat down from getting back from the record store.
GNX - Kendrick Lamar
GP - Gram Parsons
Didn’t realize they both consist of only letters until just now.

Taking my daughters to the record shop these days is very fun. My freshman picked up the second Cage The Elephant LP and my youngest bought some guitar pic earrings.

I own their most recent reissue, or well, A reissue, but they haven't put that out in a deluxe edition.tragabigzanda wrote:no Paul's Boutique?!Teeeeeekay wrote:B wrote:I've completed my collection of Beastie Boys deluxe editions.

The Miles album sounds gorgeous. I also listened to STP´s Core but the pressing is ok. Volume is too low, which i dont hate it though.VinylGuy wrote:Got

Re: The Vinyl Thread: Still Listen On Wax, Don't Use The CD
Was putting my MiL's Christmas tree away in their basement and came across a pile of their old albums. Asked if I could borrow a few and when I took them out to play them at home it was like they had used them as fucking Frisbees at the beach. I'm kinda discussed with my wife now tbh. Her family obviously has zero respect for vinyl care.
Seriously, they are so bad I'm just gonna give them all back. Not playing them on my turntable, that's for sure.

That's all I grabbed today. I considered quite a bit, but passed on most.
The store I go to lets people get reservations. There were about 35 people in front of me.
The owner said that 400 people registered in the first minute of the link being live.
What do people do in cities bigger than Raleigh?
