The growing up experience of going to the red-roofed building, sliding into a vinyl booth, sharing a pan pizza while drinking Sprite from a red plastic cup under a Tiffany lamp, and taking turns playing Pac-Man was never, ever about the quality of the pizza.

Pizza Hut isn't good. But GOING TO Pizza Hut was amazing.

This is a complicated question

Most foreigners seem to dislike it. It is a very common complaint among expats.

It's an acquired taste, I think. Very thick airy dough, barely any sauce at all, an ungodly amount of mozzarella.

I happen to love it. And a good fugazzetta feels like temporarily ascending to the heavens.

I just Googled fugazetta because I'd never heard of it and it looks fantastic!
