I really like the HGM album Haw -- everything I dug into beyond that felt like more of the same (and not something I connected with deeply enough to need lots of), but when the right mood strikes, that album really hits the spot.

More or less, yeah. This song probably has the most pronounced so-cal, breezy, Fleetwood Mac influence. Depending on his band at the time, sometimes it's more country, other times there's some gospel/r&b. But this kind of 60s/70s folk rock is his thing.

Interesting. Haw is probably my least favorite HGM album.
