It's so good. It's horror/trauma/queer and it's just one of the best books I've read in a long time. Reminds me of Toni Morrison, honestly. There's a chance you might be able to do it because of how poetic it is? It's not quite like other prose books I've read. This feels special and unique, and like moving the ball forward.

So, I guess, if you're willing to take a chance on something in the prose world, I highly recommend this one. Maybe it's not for you but it has the best shot of being something you'll respond to, I think, based on our talks.
