The headline here: JJ very publicly admits mistakes with Super 8 and Star Trek.

Great leaders learn from their mistakes, address them and their work is better for it. Surrounding himself with Kasdan and others from the original trilogy, coupled with comments about needing a slow burn (I am your father), leaves me feeling very optimistic about this film.
