You are frequently openly joyous when politicians use their power to restrain or punish the press, because you see the press as deserving of it. I doubt you give two shits about the White House banning a news organization for refusing to call it The Gulf of America, either….it has all your favorite hallmarks: first, it doesn’t affect you….and second, you don’t like the person or group being targeted. By the magic of just those two things, you cease to care at all if a person in power uses government to punish someone for saying the wrong thing.
