Your work in this thread has been marvelous.
I have her muted due to all the crazy shit she posts, so who knows, she may have posted that in the past 12 hours.

It's all about gaining--not losing--votes for him at this point. He's behind ("Says who?") so he needs positive coverage to pull undecideds and minor-party sympathizers.

manufacturing jobs that went overseas

Watching Fox News try to pretend that the hurricane was still the big story all last night was fun, but turning it on this morning to find them still talking about it ("Category One Storm Continues! More after this") was pretty amazing. And then, finally, the punch line: the tiredest looking Neil Cavuto appears in front of the site of the next debate. "With the debate happening this weekend, one has to wonder: if people keep saying Trump needs to bring his A-game or he's done, why aren't they saying that about Hillary Clinton? (Opens his mouth, closes it, looks like he just buried his dog) Just...(glances off camera)...be tough on both. (heavy breath or small sigh) that's all I'm saying..." Cue commercials.

Yup. Based on how he's pulling and where, 538's model gives him stunningly low odds. He needs to make a lot of new friends, and that did not just happen.

The Breitbart/Drudge crowd has really turned ugly towards Paul Ryan. Half of them seem to think he knew this was coming out and helped it happen.

PAUL RYAN!

If Trump wins, I want him to call this ratturdocrat out during his acceptance speech and tell him "resign your speaker ship Eddie Munster."

Kelly Ayotte, the GOP senator from New Hampshire who's facing a tough re-election fight, has said she's writing in Mike Pence. Please, feel free to write in Pence if you live in NH, North Carolina, Ohio, or Florida. Great plan.

New York (CNN)Donald Trump will "never" drop out.

The embattled Republican presidential nominee told a pair of newspapers on Saturday that he has no intention of quitting the presidential race despite a growing chorus of Republicans urging him to step aside in the wake of sexually aggressive remarks he made in 2005.

"I'd never withdraw. I've never withdrawn in my life," Trump told The Washington Post. "No, I'm not quitting. I have tremendous support."

He also told The Wall Street Journal there is "zero chance I'll quit."

Also on Saturday, Trump's running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, decided not to attend a Wisconsin GOP event at which he was scheduled to appear with House Speaker Paul Ryan in place of Trump, a campaign source told CNN. No reason was given.

I've been reading some entertaining stuff pointing out that GOP electors could just vote for Pence as president instead. Problem with it, though, is that it means jack shit if they can't get 270.
