I'm enjoying the album. Some arrangements are a touch too sparse for me but every note is spot on. I Guess I Just Feel Like is my fave so far. Innocuous and inconsequential music, perfect for sipping to while watching the day fade into night.

I enjoy a majority of Mayer's work and think this little project is just plain fun, a light summer album. The musicianship is stellar but that has really been his MO for quite a while now, he really surrounds himself with great musicians. Phillinganes (keys/synths) played on Clapton's last three albums of the 80s.

Carry Me Away, I Guess I Just Feel Like and New Light were all released as standalone singles over the last three years and I am still coming around to their inclusion on the album but have enjoyed them for a while now.
