Sorry, but Dune is from a very influential Sci-fi period in my life. And waaay before Pearl Jam was even a thought.

As a side note, I've often thought of starting a thread about Sci-fi movies from a certain time period (mostly 1950- mid 80's, but some older stuff from the 30's in there), but I feel like it might be just LV and myself having any interest.

Yes. It received and continues to receive mostly bad reactions, but I've always appreciated the story and what Lynch was trying to do. I think you should watch it. Be warned, it can be a slog if you aren't into the story or the dated look of it.

same. I have the google play version because they throw promotional money at me like crazy so I bought it there. just got a Pixel Slate (yeah, I'm on the cutting edge of cancelled tech!) so maybe that'll be the book I read on it first.
