The countdown clock has reset to 3 days. I don't really give a shit. I don't think it'll be an album announcement. Why would they announce the album *after* the tour? It just goes to show their priorities, doesn't it?

At least they teased new album music.

Normally a tour announcement would be a pretty big deal but the countdown clock? Yeah, overkill. It's not like they're the hot band of the moment.
But a new countdown clock? I'm guessing it's for when they unveil the new album's name/tracklist/artwork.

Definitely single news if not album.
Hit the latter part of the new video for a hint of the song I suspect.
Sounds really good to these ears.

This is the one thing I liked about this announcement. I much prefer GA to seats.

They sound nice and moody. But why the hell is Matt playing the ride cymbal on a song that heavy?

With the caveat that this still felt like a pretty huge letdown, my guess is that they had to go with the tour first because some sites are already doing on sale stuff for the shows (so they need the announcement) and to also stream a song might be too taxing on the site.
That's my charitable interpretation.

im 99% certain this will be some rare instrumental they threw together in five minutes, sounds awesome, and will never appear on an album.
