Pretty weird how so many people here make fun of patriotism. Someone can fly the flag at a bbq and still accept our country is deeply flawed. But I guess this is the same type of thing that keep people from spinning Cold Roses by Ryan Adams anymore.

I saw combat in three tours for this country, please don't preach to me about patriotism. And also please don't mistake patriotism for forced patriotism where if you don't fly the colors or stand for the anthem you aren't a patriot but instead a traitor to our country. And that is exactly what the right under Trump has done.

I occasionally fly Old Glory on the front of the house, but I don’t own any flag themed apparel nor do I live a flag-centric lifestyle.
