I was thinking recently how the psychology of two people who had emotionally traumatic childhoods—Trump not getting hugs and Musk being bullied—exerts such wide-ranging influence over the whole of human civilization. I prefer he stick with America first and put aside all these idiotic international misadventures. I don't think his rhetoric is really flying with his base either. What he should have done is cut funding and told Europe to deal with it themselves, if they still have the stones to (they don't).
