I am listening to the excellent new Archers of Loaf album, their first in nearly 25 years, and it got me thinking about bands who have released albums of new music after a breakup (or considerable hiatus). It's gotta be tricky, finding a balance between recapturing the trademark sound you're known for while still trying to push ahead creatively.

yeah, Rage is a good pick. Seems they dont really have more left.
I think Faith No More and Soundgarden are great examples. My Bloody Valentine could be another. Slowdive too.
