It’s the worst part of the song! I like other parts of it but that intro drags it the fuck down in my estimation
it's always reminded me of something, but i've never been able to put my finger on it.
it's like a scene from 1950s movie where 2 rapscallions get in a heated debate over a girl in a diner, they chug their milkshakes, drag a comb through their hair, and they take off drag racing down the road in their Chevy Bel Airs
Except with canned production and played with zero conviction by soccer dads

I've tried this tactic before and no one has payed attention to it, so I can't imagine it'll work here... BUT.... what if it ISN'T trying to be epic, classic PJ? What if you let go of that notion? What if you stop thinking of it in those terms?
