The amount of money they have probably been offered to headline various festivals this summer for the 20th anniversary of "Definitely Maybe" probably dwarfs some of the insane numbers thrown at the likes of the Smiths & the Stone Roses over the years. If it doesn't happen this summer, it'll happen next summer for the 20th anniversary of "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?"

It comes after Noel Gallagher turned down £20million ($33.6 million) to reunite with brother Liam for an Oasis world tour in December last year.

I wonder if the SMS from Roskilde is the same that was released on the Stop The Clocks EP. I do wish they would release MTV Unplugged in its entirety, such a fantastic performance.

If I had the time, I'd edit the fuck outta Be Here Now wav. files and shorten the shit outta that record. Its actually really cool, just way too goddamn long.

I know that has been done and made the rounds on some of the UK boards a while ago, I may have it at home in my random oasis folder. I agree that BHN is the definition of overblown as an album (so does Noel) but I still blast the fuck out of it relatively often. Also, the bombast of DYKWIM? (video and all) is perfect... for what it is.

Noel played with Johnny Marr the other night, and Liam disbanded Beady Eye.

So Liam is in Beady Eye with two other Oasis members, Andy and Gem. Liam breaks up Beady Eye because the other members have little or no talent and he doesn't want to play with them any more. But he wants to reunite Oasis, which would include Andy and Gem. Sounds about right.
