I am 100% team LV w/r/t crafting, part gathering and weapon degradation. That shit in every single game is why my PS4 hasn't left rest mode since May. I just want to ride around and shoot stuff.

The fact that the space required is so large gets me even more pumped. This fucker is going to be huge. The realism noted thus far (between eating, resting, weapon degradation, camp maintenance, etc) has me a bit concerned too but I'm gonna keep faith that it doesn't drown out the fun. The amount of depth this game purportedly has is already overwhelming.

Not necessarily a good thing, I’d argue.

Totally. I'm ok with degradation as long as it's not too aggressive and it's fairly easy to repair/maintain weapons.
105GB? What size HDD do you have? Delete some shit, you won't play anything else for a while.

The only Rockstar game that experimented with character wellbeing and maintenance has been San Andreas. That was a bit of a chore, but I did it.

Yeah i remember having to work out to get your stamina and fighting skills increased. It was definitely more of a chore than anything. Hopefully they've refined the process (or made it optional)

I had CJ jacked back in the San Andreas days, it was a bit of an annoyance but not a deal breaker. I'm hoping 14 years later they've figured out how to integrate this kind of feature without it feeling like a chore.
They've been pretty clear about the ability to interact with every NPC, but curious as to whether you can actually enter every single building/indoor location in this game. Also saw there's like 200 species of wildlife in the game. Along with the horse bonding, would be cool if you could keep a dog within the camp or something like that.

This will be way better than Far Cry 5. I have zero doubts.

It is a video game so it does have that in common.
