I’m in Act III of Baldur’s Gate III, and it’s been pretty stable for me throughout, but I’ve now had the game crash twice during a large, many-NPC combat (same fight both times). I feel like something is going on with the size of the fight and the game is having trouble keeping track of everything; I’ve heard this has been the sort of stability issue people have run into closer to the endgame. I’m going to give the fight one more try, but it’s a side quest, so I can skip it if I really needed to (just want that sweet, sweet XP).

When a game has exhausted its methods to present genuine difficulty through clever level design and introduce insta-death bullshit because fuck you. See: Divinity: Original Sin 2 and deathfog.

I just beat Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the Wii. I only recently learned that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the Wii is a completely different game than Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the PS3 / XBOX 360. Fail Ubisoft marketing team. Fail.

I wonder how many other games have completely different versions within the same generation of hardware? Aladdin, I think.
