JESUS! What a genre!
Take Garth and Reba off there, and we’ll make out to this list.

Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way is the best country song ever.

And Bocephus. His 70s to late 80s output is great.

It wasn't meant to be a comprehensive be all/end all list, Len. It was just me vomiting names of artists I love off the top of my head that illustrate how great this genre is. Dwight Yoakam is also great, yes.

Don't meet many country music fans who don't like Garth and Reba.

I can’t stand Reba’s voice and I’ve just never been a fan of Garth.

Same for early Steve Earle.

Also, include Margo Price. She's phenomenal.

Not being a fan of Garth Brooks (but being a country music fan) baffles the shit out of me. I can't understand that.

Sorry man. I’m baffled that everyone goes gaga over him. Sure, I like a tune or two, but for my taste, he’s nothing that special. He’s certainly no Waylon or Johnny.

I listened a bunch of artist that illustrate how vast, deep, and awesome country is. Then you said to remove Garth and Reba and you'd agree. I wasn't saying any of them were better than any other, just that all were amazing.

By removing Garth and Reba, your implication is that you agreed with my including all but them. And that's weird to me.

I just don’t like either of them. That’s not a slam against you or anything. Just my own tastes.
