Funny thing to me is, I can appreciate Rose, but my Asian girlfriend thinks that she is the worst Star Wars character. And she likes TLJ a lot more than I do. It should be allowed to dislike someone or something from SW in the SW forum.

So what is the problem exactly? Is it because of the actress attacks that this thread is in "poor taste"? Because I'll start a "is jar jar the worst SW character" thread, to make it fair?

Obviously no one supports harassing actors so that they erase their social media, especially with racism. I think what happened with Kelly Marie Tran was disgusting. But toxic fan culture has nothing to do with a debate on RM.

Also, there have been plenty of toxic things RMers have contributed to the conversation. Most of the discourse has been civil but not everyone is off the hook.
