But again, I say that with reservations. I haven’t seen any of these flicks yet, after all, so I’m not making any judgements here.

I was confused about his infatuation with Transformers movies but at least in that instance he actually explained himself a little bit... he sees the action as exceptionally well-done and I can understand that.. but for me, and most people, action is stupid without a good story holding it up.

Spring Breakers is also seriously lacking in the story department but it's also lacking everywhere else, so I don't get it.

Yep. See the thread in Sports Forum. Watched it with the wife on Hulu last weekend. Pretty damn good. The main character's personality is at least as interesting as the feat of climbing, itself.
