heh yeah I noticed he looked unusually short. Also, where was Kelly McGinnis?

I guess it would have been distracting to have them fight a particular enemy. Whoever they would have picked on would have pissed me off, unless it was the US government.

Do the enemy fighter jets even exist irl?

Exactly. This movie was basically perfect.

Google what Kelly McGillis looks like present day and you will have your answer on why they didn't want us to have to watch her on screen.

The movie felt timid, in a way. Nervous to be too much of, or too direct about, anything. It was better made than a lot of stuff that makes a billion dollars, though.
Makes total sense everyone likes this movie now

Was Connelly playing McGinnis's role? I couldn't be bothered to find out. Her whole story was a waste of time anyway.

Loved this! There were parts that I thought the original did better, and bits of this that were better than the original. Guess I'll wait till I've seen this another 20+ times before handing down final judgment

Phenomenally enjoyable movie. I had a smile on from minute one, right up to the point I started bawling my eyes out.

Tom Cruise, as we all know, is a movie star in every sense of the word.

Except one! Tom Cruise is not sexy. He's very good looking obviously. I'm happy to look at him, I might even enjoy it. But he is not sexy. The only scene that didn't work in the whole movie is the one where he is shirtless, having a post-coital chat with Jennifer Connelly in bed. Having sex with Tom Cruise seems like it would be torture. Not fun. Even their kiss at the end was weird, and I am 1000% certain this was not Jennifer Connelly's fault.

Does Tom Cruise have sexual relationships in other movies over the last fifteen years or so? I don't recall at the moment, but I hope the answer is no. Remind me not to revisit Eyes Wide Shut.

Also, I counted four times that characters commented on Tom Cruise's facial expression. "Don't make that face" or "I don't like that face." And at least twice he said something along the lines of that being the only one he had. What was this and why was it a recurring theme?

The "sex scene" montage just being them chatting in bed was fucking hilarious

It’s exactly how I imagine a real life Tom Cruise sex scene
