Its a really good album...very moody, introspective but at the same time rockin collection of tunes. And i just love Ben´s voice in this one.

Ooh, I like the description. I've always viewed Hater as the definition of the true "grunge" sound. I love those albums.

I'd say this album is not much like hater. I also love both hater albums. especially the 2nd. nonetheless, to be a fan of hater is to be a fan of ben shepherd, and he is part of this again, so there is a chance you will like it. very different tho.

While i love Hater, this is more straight forward. Its mostly acoustic, and i can see shades from Lanegan's first work to Cash to Cave, yeah.
And in other news, Hater first album is getting a reissue.
