“Take It Easy” is a perfect pop rock song. Eagles hate is so dumb.

Agreed, that's a tremendous Jackson Browne song.

Everybody hates the eagles because of the big lebowski but in reality they are a really good band

I'm a little weary of bad songs being defended because they're good pop songs. Lots of perfect pop songs deserve to be hated.

Pretty much anything by Elvis Costello past Armed Forces, that's 40+ years of his work that does nothing for me.

The Glenn Frey sung Eagles songs are ok.

I'll try to clarify.

I may dislike a song and think it sucks even though it is well-crafted, catchy, and successful at what it is attempting.

I think the implicit thing when people say "this is a perfect pop song" (or perfect example of any genre) is that they like it.

I don't normally like Katy Perry but I still love that I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It song. That one's a real toe-tapper.
