Newish claim that Sea People were just early Greeks. Not satisfying.

That kinda fits with something I read a few months ago. Early Greeks came out of the steppes and wrecked shit. I don't think they were particularly good seafarers at first though.

Newgrange. 5200 years old. A star chart passage tomb that lines up perfectly with the sunrise on winter solstice. Older By far than Stonehenge and the pyramids. Nobody knows how.

I wonder how different the human brain was 5,000 years ago. I want to say 'not that different' when I see stuff like this. It's just we didnt have the tools of previous generations to 'stand on' . We build skyscrapers and spaceships today. But if we were out there in 'the wilderness' without many tools, we could prob figure out how to build something cool like that if we all put our minds to it.
i find myself increasingly attuned to the positioning of the sun in the sky ... if we didnt have distractions like TV and jobs we'd prob be able to pin down where it sets and shines pretty easily over the course of a year (not to diminish how cool this is!!). but i could see myself if out in the wilderness a few thousand years ago wanting to try to build something cool around it like this
