Conservative media is not going to cover Trump 24-7 for the next 4 years. I don't think Trump will just fade away, but I find it unlikely he runs again. He'd be the same age Biden is now, and is clearly less healthy (from the neck down, at least). And I don't think people are gonna buy the generic grocery store brand that is Don Jr.

I hate it as much as anyone but Burt is right. Gaetz is more of the model though he's a little too fetal-alcoholy for widespread support. I think it's Tom Cotton.

It's definitely not Nikki Haley, and I don't think we can undersell how much the Trump phenomena is articulated around a strongman.

Agree with Mickey that it’s not Haley. I’m not sure she ever had a real window but if she did, it passed. Tom Cotton is a better guess, not 100% sold there either tho. Can you imagine a Tom Cotton rally? That might unintentionally look more like a nazi rally, all stiff & serious. I wouldn’t put it passed them to find a new celebrity.
