It's certainly not Stranger than Paradise, Down By Law, Ghost Dog, Broken Flowers, Only Lovers, or Paterson

The only Jarmusch movie I haven't seen is Limits of Control. I tried once but could not get into it. It might be bad. Every other Jarmusch is good, some are among my favorite movies of all time

A ton of folks don't like The Dead Don't Die. I was ambivalent about it at first but I've come to think it's a brilliant follow-up to Only Lovers Left Alive.

I haven't seen Limits of Control, Mystery Train, or Dead Man, but Jarmusch is consistently tops for me.

i guess it might a good companion to the brillant OLL in the way thats like the other half of a coin maybe? like here you have a genre piece and its almost a drama and there you have this one thats a comedy.

But still it felt almost like he was faking it.

I agree with him being super consistent over the years.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
