Thats what im doing, but its still tough, figuring out a flow after figuring what to cut out of the initial mix.

Either approach works, I guess. But if you're not even considering the other party, what's the point of disclosing your partner to you? My mix is definitely going to be very different from my original idea now that I know who my partner is

My approach to this is "I want to find the area of the Venn diagram where my taste and the other person's taste overlap, and hopefully show them some cool stuff they may not be familiar with"

I felt it was unethical to engineer any specific result from the drawing of mix partners but mine is also providing me with a challenge.
