One of the more solid songs on the album. Matt is a good song writer. Better than alot of the crap on this album. This song is actually trying to do something inventive with it's riffs and rhythms. It's kinda like My Fathers Son meets Ghost meets Soundgarden.

I'd give it a 3 on the PJ scale, but a 4 on the Gigaton scale.

Average rocker.

it's so much better than Worse Dreams tho

The chorus is catchy as hell.

This is just classic cameron melody as well. I can actually hear this as a wellwater tune.

This song might actually be good! I think the placement after Never Destination hurts it a bunch as that song has a similar feel but is worse in almost every way and feels like an outtake from Backspacer

it does feel like Attrition but also something from WWC for sure. Its more WWC than Soundgarden to me.

Definitely the song I like the least. The performances are all fine, but it's more interesting than compelling. It doesn't ring true to me. I like the outro, but it feels like it should be a bridge. The song ends a bit too abruptly.

But on the plus side, this answers the question I've occasionally wondered - would I have liked Soundgarden more if Eddie Vedder was singing their songs. Evidently not.

I think ND and take the Long way in a row slows down the album. I think ND can grow on me, but I feel this one won't.
