Especially when Track 11 has AWESOME songs.

To really raise the stakes, we should all agree that the resulting "Ultimate" PJ Album can be the only PJ album that any of us can listen to until then end of time.

we sip cocoa in a blanket and listen to Sirens while watching Sleepless in Seattle?

that sounds pretty good, actually, sign me up

You're right. But I want to participate but I also want to put minimal effort into it.

So is the goal to have an album full of mid-tier songs so that we don’t get two absolute stink bombs from Backspacer and LB, or is it to vote for your favorite song every round, especially when they are winning, and just say “fuck it, who cares about the BS and LB songs, they’re gonna suck anyway, I’m gonna get as many awesome songs as possible.”

I think people understand just fine how this works, they just have different strategies.

Is this a strategy?

That’s as much strategy as Kaius seems capable of, yes.

Pick something approaching the best song on the album b/c the other really good albums can bear the weight of losing out on that specific track number.

I'm thinking The End. It's a fine enough song that fits near the end of an album, and would help avert a Backspacer catastrophe if we somehow got locked into The Fixer, Just Breathe, or Supersonic.

There will be a poll for this "Ultimate" album so we can all assign it 1-5 stars, correct?

Picking SoH over NAIS or Of The Girl is respectable, even if I don’t agree with it

I can live with it

I am not a revisionist SoH hater like some

over time I have come to like OTG most from this album, methinks
