I made a short-lived version of it meant to carry over on this generation of RM, but nothing beats the original.

Just had a quick look at the first few pages of the old hipster thread. Among all the lolz these posts brought, there was a sort of surprising revelation that simple schoolboy was a loyal NPR listener before the hipsters took over.

When I think hipster nonsense, it's definitely Pitchfork. Not NPR--not the brilliant, intimate live performances they feature, anyway.

Listening to the NPR performance now. Beautiful voice, but musically uninteresting. There were some neat lyrical pockets, I guess.
