Phoebe has a new single with 4 new songs i guess? I was looking for the cello EP and found it out just now.

Fiona Apple and Matt Berninger are featured on one song.

I listened to it the other day. I feel about it about the same way I feel about most of her music: she has a pretty voice but overall it's a :z:

the cello EP is pretty good. And Punisher is great. Maybe my fav album from 2020 besides Gigaton.

I adored that thread. Let's bring it back?

I guess hipster shit is popular culture now, tho.

I made a short-lived version of it meant to carry over on this generation of RM, but nothing beats the original.

Just had a quick look at the first few pages of the old hipster thread. Among all the lolz these posts brought, there was a sort of surprising revelation that simple schoolboy was a loyal NPR listener before the hipsters took over.

When I think hipster nonsense, it's definitely Pitchfork. Not NPR--not the brilliant, intimate live performances they feature, anyway.

Sorry, Veggie. Can you recommend me one live performance as an intro to Phoebe?

The majority of that sounded like music Mickey would scissor his wife to. I'll keep going, though.

Listening to the NPR performance now. Beautiful voice, but musically uninteresting. There were some neat lyrical pockets, I guess.

Hype train: derailed.
