Yet he's got some awesome songs, I would pay for a Cat Stevens tribute album by EV.
Father & Son (Awesomeness)
Sitting (Tough to do a better job than Costello)
Don't be shy (Already covered live)
If you want to sing out (Already covered live)
Wild world (Tough to do a better job than Cornell)
The entire Tea For The Tillerman album is outstanding. A true masterpiece.daft twat wrote:Father and Son is as good as any song ever written.tragabigzanda wrote:Cat Stevens is overrated

ed must've found a better weed contact than boomjoostone wrote:I kinda like 'Matter of Time'. I'm also really excited Eddie wrote a song on the piano. He will only get better at it and will probably lead to more songs for either the band or solo shows. I really like the idea of some piano songs at his solo shows. The dude is still learning and developing. Whether it's playing ukelele or finger picking guitar, now he's trying keys. River Cross was his first organ song and this one is his first piano song.
Geez really? I've tried twice and struggle to make it thru Matter of Time....i kind of love River Cross.Kevin Davis wrote:I kind of dig "Matter of Time" -- as Ed-on-keyboard songs go, I think I like it better than "River Cross"...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not overly enthused about either one of them. But "River Cross" is just a dud for me.Thurman Murman wrote:Geez really? it wasn't THAT bad7 Years and Maybe Longer wrote:Matter of Time didn't do much for me on first listen. Maybe will be a grower, but felt like a BO'B production.

Ditto. I'm kind of a sap, but I think it will be incredibly moving if they can replicate it live.Ms Harmless wrote:me tooVinylGuy wrote:I love River Cross so much.
