Already texted you this, but for the rest of RM:

even if the EQ is slightly improved -- and I'm not sure there's ANY room for improvement -- I'm sure the dynamic range will be much smaller. The thrill of that blast from the closing notes of Sometimes to the opening notes of Hail Hail? Kiss it goodbye.
Is there any compression or loss of fidelity that happens when they just transfer original digital to vinyl like they probably did for the original release and prior reissue?

Also, did they actually fucking forget that they reissued this already and its been on this format since original release?

This is just ridiculous (and I say this not wanting a copy at all). Why don't they just see how many orders they get then manufacture a run of said amount.

They are creating this supply and demand fever issue.

yeah kinda surprised they keeping feeding the scalpers with this sh*t

i have the original and any tinkering with that recording will likely only bother me

it is perfect as it is

b-sides and live show

now that would have been something special

but alas

they chose colored plastic to memorialize this era

Absolutely. It boggles the mind that they would have 'no quantity limit' - it's almost like they want them flipped on eBay.

At this point not only are they placing an unnecessary limit on how many copies they could sell, they are pissing off more fans than they are pleasing.

And yes I'm saying this as someone who would have liked a copy. No Code is my favourite PJ album and although I own the original and repress, I am curious to see whether this 'mastered for vinyl' version spread over 2 LPs sounds any better...

Yes!

I know that this release is two LP's.

What I keep asking, and no one is answering, but Trag might have some insight into because of his history in audio prediction, is why this version of No Code is two LP's and the others were not. What makes this one double? Why is this two LP's, does one think?

yeah, its fucking weird they are expanding this one in two. Its because of the fucking mastering right?

Earlier, trag said that wasn't the case. That's why I'm curious to know what he thinks the reason is.

You guys told me to get the In Utero that was sped up to 45 and split onto two records because it sounds better. Is that not possible here?

(Spoiler: It's not. No way Pearl Jam's vinyl people care that much.)
