I like that one a lot better then supersoaker, ill definitely DL this album when it comes outDr. Van Nostrand wrote:Cool, im gonna give that a listen tooharmless wrote:Yeah, I think so.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Is that supposed to be from the new album also?harmless wrote:I'm also really liking 'Always The Same', the live song on Youtube.
It's darker and a bit more punchy. I wouldn't mind if both moods are on the album.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:I like that one a lot better then supersoaker, ill definitely DL this album when it comes outDr.
Sounds like what happened with NIN when Trent released "Closer".manofgoldenwords25 wrote:Yeah, their audience when i saw them in 2010 was awful, a bunch of dick head fat boys and dumb bitch women/girls who were just there because they thought the band was sexy. I thought they put on a great show even with out much interaction, but they crowd really took away from what was happening on stage
My experience exactly. I was surrounded by 16 year old girls and their mothers, who knew none of their old songs. I think my love for them died when these little girls started screaming out 'MY SEX IS ON FIRE!'
I watched this before we hit the road, and the song has been in my head the whole time. Its better live then on that videoTyler Durden wrote:KOL playing "Supersoaker" last night on Jimmy Fallon:

Im not planning on seeing them any time soon, but i hope their audience has changed after all that crap with Calebpsychobain wrote:theyre decent live, but the crowd![]()
guess you can say that about a lot of bands these days....
I guess I thought they were out of ideas half way through the first album, and then I thought it again when I listened to Because of the Times. I've always listened to KOL on the basis that they were a fun rock band, nothing more nothing less. I don't think the new one is any better or worse than the best songs I've heard from them.verb_to_trust wrote:I watched their embarrassing doc on Netflix the other night. They totally glossed over the whole 'we don't write our own songs' thing.....not to mention how it was they actually got signed.
This new song does absolutely nothing for me by the way. Sounds to me like these guys are rich and out of ideas.
Angelo Petraglia co-wrote the first album; I don't see that as a big deal. I can think of many successful bands who take credit for writing their own material and it's awful.verb_to_trust wrote:I watched their embarrassing doc on Netflix the other night.
