Heard this on the David Chang podcast the other day and bringing it here because the idea really amuses me. Do most athletes practice their dap routines or just naturally let it flow in the moment?

Had sports radio on and a reporter continually referred to Ole Miss as Mississippi. Was driving me nuts. Is this an irrational hatred?

They’re technically correct. I mean no one in the south does that, that bugs me too. Reporter must have been from somewhere else . but it’s like Michigan and Michigan State I suppose.

Every time Mizzou has played Ole Miss I refer to them as the University of Mississippi because Mizzou is an older university. It is dumb and petty, but sports are dumb and petty.

Yeah I only caught a snippet but I assumed he’s from elsewhere.

back in the day they cost a nickel...a nickel was known as a slug..hence the name..we paid $1 when we had them.."Gimme five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where were we... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have any white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

getting back to sports related questions..hows your golf game?

I played a few weeks ago, but only to use up a balance that expires at the end of the year. Had a few really good drives, chipped alright, can't really remember on putting, but irons/woods were God awful. I really don't want to play for a long time.

The US Soccer Federation and the US Women’s National Soccer Team have settled their lawsuit and going forward both the men & women national team will be paid the same. If they were pulling in equal revenue that would be one thing but there’s no way the women’s team is generating the same as the men.
I’m going to step on that stone; how is any women’s professional league viable? The only reason the WNBA is still around is because of the NBA’s subsidy.
