Bands you know you'd love if you just explored them more

My first impression of Sonic Youth was that they were a Band I Know I'd Love If I Just Explored Them More (BIKILIIJETM)

But then I actually explored them and found that they were a Band I Don't Really Like Despite Being Aesthetically Aligned With Some Of My Tastes (BIDRLDBAAWSOMT)

This reminds me of the time I was reading some old school music mags and they kept using the acronym NWOBHM and I had zero idea what that was about. Took me 3 issues to crack the code.

This was pre-google.

I learned the meaning of this acronym by reading the liner notes to Metallica's Garage Inc. album.

50-ish albums is always going to be a tough thing to tackle, but Ah Um makes the most sense here.
Ah, that's a typical jazz discography -- doesn't scare me in the slightest! Mingus will be my deep dive for 2022. You heard it here first.

My entry to Cave was the original B Sides and Rarities from 2006. Strange start but turned into a love affair for me.

See, I have no problem with this. I know many RM sticklers will cry out "thread integrity!!", but I'm here for the extended and interesting side conversations.

We'll, not to participate, obviously, but I do enjoy reading them.

Skeleton Tree was the album that finally sealed the deal for me on Nick Cave.

Yeah, I particularly love his last 3 albums. Sorry LV, I know you vehemently disagree with my take on this one.
