I'm also strongly in favor of removing past winners. It sounds weird having a Pearl Jam tournament without some of the songs that are widely considered to be their best, but it will make for a much more interesting tournament.

There's an annual ASOIAF character tournament on Twitter I follow and every year they remove the previous year's winner and add a different character. It's great because every year you get to argue the merits of someone like Barbrey Dustin because we don't need to talk about Ned Stark again.

Maybe at some point it'll reach critical mass and you'll have to reset, but it's really something I think we should try.

Someday At Christmas is one of my favorite performances from that era and I still think it shouldn't be here.

Olympic Platinum should be in there 100%. It won’t get through the first round bc RMers are pleebs, but it deserves the respect. The freakin’ Olympics are happening RIGHT NOW

Yeah agreed too. This whole thing boils down to like
6 songs. The rest is just an exercise in frustration at some point

I say keep retiring the winners, and then when we've amassed 64 retired winners, we'll do a bracket with just those songs. It'll be a glorious 2079.
