Sure.
Maybe he's critical to how the band gels.
Maybe more people are sick than just Jeff.
Maybe the people they trust to fill in aren't available.

I don’t think the band did anything wrong necessarily, but I definitely can understand why people who had tickets to these shows(especially SAC) would be upset/disappointed. The band has understandably cancelled a lot of shows, but haven’t been nearly as eager to make those shows up as other bands have been.
