There was a stabbing at my youngest step-son's college yesterday. And apparently someone OD'd in one of the toilets...

I read it was a ~1cm cut inflicted by a pair of scissors. Sucks for the victim, but if true, it could've been a lot worse!

The main article on Stuff says
A person remains in a serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Wellington Hospital on Wednesday morning, following the incident which sent the school into lockdown
- sounds more then a 1cm cut

Someone lied online? That's impossible.

Sorry, victim. Hope you pull through!

And today the school went back into lockdown and SWAT teams arrived.....apparently. False gun report or something

The Bam twins are in coach pitch little league this year. I am the head coach.

I originally considered coaching because I knew I could throw the kids good, hittable pitches. Honestly with some of them it’s me hitting the bat with the ball, not the other way around.

Then a buddy joked I should be the HEAD coach so I could promote a no mask policy. So I did. And he’s assisting.

But now that I really think about it, we chose to coach together so we could have normal conversations with each other without some of the other woke snowflake parents interrupting. That’s what happened with the kids basketball team, very annoying the head coach was hyperwoke and I kinda had to tiptoe around him as assistant coach, so I took charge and I’m glad I did.

It’s mostly about the coaching style trending more toward having fun while leaning the game, and less rules / drill sergeant’ish.

The kids shouldn’t be leaning during the game.
