Fuckin Bruce Springsteen
It's like an eagle fucked an apple pie on an American flag and gave birth to this bland tight jeans wearing motherfucker.
have you actually listened to his songs? Almost everyone is about how American fucks people out of the American Dream they believe in?

The only bad thing about that performance is that Ed didn't catch the mask head on fire like he did that Arizona sweatshirt. Now that would have been awesome!

One day I will learn to enjoy Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young as much as everybody tells me I should enjoy Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young.

I have Devils and Dust. Never have it a very in depth listen but I thought it was ok.
That's the extent of my Springsteen knowledge beyond some of the hits.

I dont know you but I am surprised you don't like Neil Young. I don't imagine you will ever like Springsteen though....
Springsteen is very hit or miss for me. He's been writing music for so long there is bound to be a few gems, and I definitely love more than a few. Much of it from the past 10 years or so- sounds kind of "samey" to me.
Live? Undeniable how great the show is.
Nebraska is incredible.
Neil? he shits gold. He is so prolific and so bold that its hard for me to dislike anything even if its horrible (w/the shocking pinks). The shows from around that time are so ridiculous its hard to actually get upset over....
Trans? I legitimately enjoy that album.

To say I "don't like him" kind of makes it sound like I dislike him, and I don't. I'm just kind of indifferent to what I've heard. I like "Harvest Moon", I guess.

"I guess..."
Hilarious.
I think you'd appreciate the greater whole of Neil Young rather than the individual pieces, if you will....

Is there a Neil Young song about saving the rainforest or some shit that lasts for what sounds like an eternity? because that's what i heard on a televised festival show. It was a brutal, brutal set. I respect the guy and all, but he has so many terrible songs to go with the good ones.

There aren't many runs of records in my mind that can match Born to Run-Darkness on the Edge of Town-The River-Nebraska. And the fact that you can extend that on both ends to include The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle, Born in the USA, and Tunnel of Love is mind blowing. Add in all the stuff that appeared on Tracks and The Promise that he deemed wouldn't fit with those records, it's just an absurd stretch of creativity to me. From 1973-1987 the man was just on another level. That he's had a legitimate renaissance in the 21st century is just icing on the cake. I would love it if Pearl Jam has that kind of of second stage creative arc somewhere in their future.

I dont think so. I think he was at a piano. Maybe he was solo back then.

Are they not chemically sterilizing people who don't like Change Your Mind, yet? Because something needs to be done to address that.
