I hate rugby. My brother plays it. I never understood it.

Mex and Poland just finished there game, 0-0 so basically nothing really happened.

Im not sold on France yet, they lost so many players...and Australia doesnt really exist as a team.

Really looking forward to Germany and Spain today.

I'm not as versed on level of competition, so that's good to point out. Even still, just the level of play -- the urgency, the specificity, the precision -- from France was impressive compared to the other matches I've watched so far. They just looked really fucking ready and hungry. Not saying it means anything moving forward, every day, every game is different.

I didn't get to watch Germany. How did they look?

but you have a relative easy group...its Wales that might challenge the US, if not its an easy second spot for them.

the thing that may kill the us's chances is that when england beats the us, they'll have the round of 16 sewn up, and they may let off the gas when they play wales. if wales plays them to a draw (assuming they beat iran), the us is screwed.
