Looks awful. Hollywood continues to try and make Superman like Nolan's Batman: Brooding, pensive, vulnerable...oh my god he's bleeding!

He should be charismatic, carefree, optimistic -- like Christopher Reeve played him. Equal parts George Clooney and Mr. Incredible.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I think with Gunn doing the movie, I was hoping for something way weirder. I want something really different and bananas. But this looks pretty straight forward. Which is kind of a bummer.

But I'll see it for Rachel Brosnahan.

I'm still going to see it and hope for the best. Trailers are trailers. But even with all of that stuff, this thing still looks very obvious and ... pedestrian. But, here's hoping the ads are just adding.
