I'm not hooked on any of the new cast. Have them. Don't have them. Either way, whatever.

i had this idea for a new trilogy a while back, and it has that very same idea of Rey´s jedi academy:

- In my idea its been 20 years since ROS and Rey has a jedi academy already with 10 or 15 very young jedi students. The Republic has been talking about what happened with jedi vs sith all these years are everything force related is forbidden. Rey doesnt give a fuck so she is now enemy n1 from the very same republic, and she ends up in jail. The young jedis escape and think how the fuck they are going to release Rey from the republic.

I understand Grogu wasn't created yet and that's why he didn't appear in the sequel trilogy so they will have their work cut out for them for this to make sense. I'm sure there's a way to write around it, just curious.

What's the angle on this one though? There has to be a conflict.

Will be hilarious if Rey has a student that shows signs of darkness and ends up slaughtering all of her young Jedi before she sets off to a hidden planet to end the Jedi as the second order comes to power.

I don't see the need for this not because of who is in it. Daisy and Driver were the two best things about the sequels. I don't want this because the whole sequel storyline was uninteresting and poorly told. Do something about the Jedi after TRoS, but just have her as a cameo or mention, and move away from the whole skywalker/palpatine thing.

Set the story in the far away galaxy to whatever date our planet Earth 2023 is. The star wars travel to Earth. Enter the human race into Star Wars.

I'm more talking about modern earth men interacting with modern star wars people. I mean they have to be related in someway....humans play most of them in the movies. Two eyes, two ears, etc.

Star Trek did it with one movie and the humpback whales.

I'm all for bringing Luke back, but just first erase the trilogy sequel from cannon and start over. Admit the mistake and do better. Well, aside from Last Jedi which is still awesome.

I think that ship has sailed. It would look foolish for Disney/LFL to do a course correction and "erase" the ST. It's done. It sucks. Anything coming now will be mediocre at best.
